Sprayed-Polyurea-Modified Asphalt: Optimal Preparation Parameters, Rheological Properties and Thermal Properties

نویسندگان

چکیده

For promoting modifying application of sprayed polyurea (SPUA) in asphalt pavement materials, the effects materials on high-temperature and fatigue performance binders were investigated from different aspects. First, optimal preparation parameters sprayed-polyurea-modified (SPMAs) determined by designing an orthogonal test. Then, properties with contents characterized rheological testing methods, including Brookfield rotary viscosity (RV) test, grading (PG) multiple stress creep recover (MSCR) linear amplitude sweep (LAS) test time sweeping (TS) Finally, thermal analyzed differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) The results showed that optimum extreme difference analysis method variance (ANOVA) method, shearing was 40 min, rate 6000 rpm temperature 150 °C. Sprayed positively affected could improve resistance binders. Moreover, had high sensitivity to binder, which help distinguish effect dosing accurately. beneficial stability binders, explains reason why have excellent a microscopic perspective.

Rheological Properties and Chemical Bonding of Asphalt Modified with Nanosilica

The objective of this study is to evaluate the rheological properties and chemical bonding of nano-modified asphalt binders blended with nanosilica. In this study, the nanosilica was added to the control asphalt at contents of 4% and 6% based on the weight of asphalt binders. Superpave binder and mixture tests were utilized in this study to estimate the characteristics of the nano-modifed aspha...

Rheological and Thermal Properties of Icy Materials

Laboratory measurements of physical properties of planetary ices generate information for dynamical models of tectonically active icy bodies in the outer solar system. We review the methods for measuring both flow properties and thermal properties of icy planetary materials in the laboratory, and describe physical theories that are essential for intelligent extrapolation of data from laboratory...

A Study on the Rheological Properties of Recycled Rubber-Modified Asphalt Mixtures

Using waste rubber in asphalt mixes has become a common practice in road construction. This paper presents the results of a study on the rheological characteristics of rubber-modified asphalt (RMA) concrete under static and dynamic loading conditions. A number of static and dynamic creep tests were conducted on RMA mix specimens with different rubber sizes and contents, and a series of resonant...

Technology of Polymer-cement Mixes Preparation with Specified Rheological Properties Technology of Polymer-cement Mixes Preparation with Specified Rheological Properties

In recent years, many new materials appeared on our construction market: polymer pastes, sealants, primers, foam. In addition, dry mixes have been suffered some changes. Previously, for the bonding of stones, leveling and processing of walls and ceilings lime, clay, alabaster, gypsum, and mixtures were used. Before the use, they are diluted with water. The development of dry mixes conducted in ...

Investigating the Creep Properties of PET-Modified Asphalt Concrete

This study has investigated the creep properties of asphaltic concrete modified with different dosages of waste polyethylene terephthalate (PET) in two different ranges of size. Uniaxial dynamic creep test at 40°C was conducted on the cylindrical specimens of the mixtures. The load was applied in two different frequencies of 0.5 and 5Hz. Creep test results showed that the accumulated strain und...
